1.Product Introduction
The GA-8 Photovoltaic Glass Spectral Transmittance Tester is an instrument designed and manufactured used for testing the transmittance of solar photovoltaic glass. It is also suitable for testing the light transmittance of float glass, insulating glass, tempered glass, laminated glass, coated glass, automotive glass, and other transparent materials.
Equipment introduction
The instrument consists of a worktable, a spectrometer, and a control computer.

Equipment fuctions
- Capable of outputting spectral transmittance values in the 380-1100 nm range and displaying spectral transmittance curves.
- Using the AM1.5 standard solar spectrum and D65 light source spectral distribution, the system can automatically calculate:
- AM1.5 effective integral transmittance
- Visible light transmittance under D65 light source
- Effective transmittance calculated based on user-defined battery response curves
It can also provide transmittance values under other standard light source conditions as required by customers.
- Able to measure the color (Lab*) values and color difference of samples.
- The testing process includes both sound and indicator light prompts:
- A "beep" sounds before testing starts.
- A "boop" sounds after testing ends to remind users not to move the sample during testing.
- The system interface displays indicator lights to show the machine's working status.
- It has an automatic calibration function, the calibration cycle can be set by itself, and the remaining time until the next calibration is displayed in real time.
- There are three working modes: manual testing, automatic testing, and path testing.
6.1 Manual testing mode: After setting parameters such as testing time, testing interval, and number of tests, push the glass into the testing area, manually click "Start Test", and after completing the test, click "Save Results" to save the test data.
6.2 Automatic testing mode: After setting the testing parameters, push the glass into the testing area, and the machine will automatically start testing. After the test is completed, the results will be automatically stored in the database.
6.3 Path testing mode: Edit the number of test points, positions, test order, and time interval between points in advance. After the sample is pushed into the testing area, the screen will prompt the next measurement point according to the planned test path. The measurement path of the test results will be automatically saved after the test is completed.
7. Multiple curves can be superimposed and displayed for comparison of test curves, and the difference curve between two curves can also be provided.
8. All test results are saved in the database, and the data can be retrieved by conditions and exported to EXCEL files.
9. It provides a test data statistics function, generates statistical histograms, and the test results can be printed (if no printer is installed, they can be exported as PDF files).
10. Database data can be exported for storage and backup for permanent preservation.
11. Fault alarm function: When a hardware failure occurs, fault information will be indicated in the screen status bar or pop-up window. The fault information will be stored in the database for analysis.
12. Resistance to ambient light interference.
13. It can operate continuously for a long time.
