4.Leak Detection

Negative pressure method
Vacuum the sealed chamber inside the inspected product Apply helium gas on the outer surface of the product under inspection Leak detector detects changes in helium content inside the workpiece The precise location of the leak can be realized.

Positive pressure method
The sealed chamber is filled with helium under certain pressure.
 When a leak occurs, helium leaks through the leak through the surrounding atmosphere .
 Detection of helium concentration increments in surrounding atmosphere by suction method The precise location of the leak can be realized.

Back pressure method
Place the inspected product in a pressurized helium chamber for a certain period of time Remove the residual helium from the surface Put the inspected product into the leak detector connected with the leak detector;Take the maximum leakage rate for a certain time.
Helium injection method leak detection process

After assembling the workpiece, use the corresponding tooling to connect the workpiece to the leak detector.
After confirming that the connection is OK, press the "Start" button of the leak detector, and the leak detector will enter the evacuated leak detection state.
Observe that the background value displayed on the leak detector screen reaches 4.0×10-10Pa·m
3/s. Use 99.99% or 99.999% helium gas to detect the suspected leak point of the workpiece.
For each suspected leak point, spray helium for 1 second and observe the background value of the leak detector for 3-5 seconds. Observe whether the background value of the leak detector is increased or whether the leak detector has alarm output.
Follow Step 5 to detect other suspicious leakage points.
Helium injection test sequence is from top to bottom, first confirm the big leak point,
After the test, press the "Stop" button of the leak detector first. After the standby screen of the leak detector screen appears, remove the workpiece.
Suction method leak detection process
Suction test standard:

After assembling the workpiece, use the corresponding tooling to fill the workpiece with a certain pressure of 99.99% or 99.999% helium.
After confirming OK, connect the suction gun to the leak detection port of the leak detector. Press the "Start" button of the leak detector, and the leak detector enters the evacuated leak detection state.
Observe that the background value displayed on the leak detector screen reaches 5.0×10-8Pa·m
About 3/s. Relatively stable state.
Helium gas is used to detect the suspected leakage point of the workpiece. The suction gun is used from the bottom up, 1-3mm away from the surface of the inspected part, and the moving speed is not large
Test at 10mm/s to detect the helium concentration increment in the atmospheric environment around the tested product.
Follow Step 4 to detect other suspicious leakage points.
First confirm the big leak point, handle it well, and then detect the small leak point
After the test, press the "Stop" button of the leak detector first, and remove the suction gun after the standby screen appears on the leak detector display.
