The U shaped-Type Two-Sided Applicator is made using modern technology of metallurgy with a precision grinding machine. The accuracy of the Gap Depth is ±1.0µm(50µm and below)and or 2% of Full Scale. It is designed with ASTM D 823-25.
It is made of high-grade, corrosion-resistant stainless steel 440C.Reliable and accurate determination OF paints and coatings requires strict control of the actual (rather than assumed) thickness of dry or wet films. In the routine quality control and research and development test, coating hiding power, opacity, scrubbing resistance, anti-flow performance and other quality tests are required to have a good consistency and repeatability of the coating. Many ISO, GB, and ASTM standards require preset coating of the same thickness. The most commonly used method for sample preparation is the coater, which can apply the desired coating from 0 to 3600μm thickness
