3. Function introduction
LCD display, equipped with ASTM D 991 test device, digital key operation, optional PC software report export and data management; electrode assembly, composed of a rigid base made of electrical insulating material with a resistivity of 10TΩ•m, a pair of current electrodes and a pair of potential electrodes are fixed in parallel with four electrodes and their top surfaces are on the same horizontal plane. Another pair of current electrodes identical to the previous pair should be fixed on two pieces of insulating material and can be superimposed on the top of the previous sample. Brass electrode, insulation resistance between electrodes is more than 1TΩ; pressure is applied to the sample to calibrate the pressure.
