Fiber Diameter Meter Fiber Fineness Analyzer Textile Fabric Fiber Fineness Diameter Tester
1.Product Introduction
The instrument has the following two functions to choose from:
(1) Longitudinal diameter measurement method
For fiber samples with a circular cross-section, the fibers can be directly arranged and laid parallel on the slide, or cut into 0.2-0.4 mm small segments using a Hastelloy micrometer and placed on the slide. The longitudinal image of the fiber is displayed on the screen by the microscopic image processing system. Clicking on the edge of the fiber automatically measures its diameter.
(2) Cross-sectional area method
For fiber samples with non-circular cross-sections, the fiber samples are first sliced using a Hastelloy micrometer. The cross-sectional sections of the fibers are placed on the stage, and the cross-sectional area of the fibers is displayed and measured on the screen through the microscopic image processing system, and then automatically converted into the equivalent diameter.
The instrument consists of a microscope, a computer and image analysis system software. The microscope is available with three objective lenses of 10X, 20X and 40X. The instrument has a resolution of 0.1 μm (micrometers) and a measurement range of 2 to 200 μm (micrometers).
The instrument can be used as a supporting device for the XG-1A type engineering fiber strength and elongation tester.
The instrument complies with the following standards:
GB/T 10685-2007 Test Method for Wool Fiber Diameter - Projection Microscope Method
GB/T 13835.6-2009 Test methods for rabbit hair fibers - Part 6: Diameter projection Microscopy method
GB/T 3364-2008 Test Methods for Diameter and Number of Carbon Fibers
