Principle

• The activated carbon sample is placed in a drum containing steel balls under specified test conditions.
• The strength tester is activated to start the timer.
• The sample is subjected to wear through the mechanical movement of the drum.
• The strength of the activated carbon sample is determined by the mass fraction of the sample retained on the test sieve compared to the original sample mass.
• The change in particle size of the destroyed sample is measured.
