1.Product Introduction
GA-1420 Inkometer Ink Viscosity tester is mainly used to detect the viscosity value of ink, and can also detect viscosity increment and ink flying. It has been widely used in ink production industry, printing industry, and ink scientific research and teaching units.

2.Test operation
1. Connect the power supply, turn on the main power switch, and the indicator light will be on (Note: located on the right side of the instrument)
2. Press the electric heating switch (ON), and the power indicator light will be on (Note: located above the main power switch). The temperature of the constant temperature water tank will start to display. The constant temperature setting of this instrument is currently 32°C. If there are special temperature requirements, please refer to the intelligent temperature control operating instructions and set the required temperature for the test. For example, if the working temperature is set to 32°C, when the temperature is displayed between 31.6°C and 32.4°C, the temperature display is normal.
3. At the same time, press the water pump switch (ON) (Note: located above the main power switch) to start the constant temperature water tank circulation (the water pump switch indicator light will be on).
4. While heating up, check whether the speed gear is at the required speed gear for the test. If not, adjust it to the required gear.
5. Before turning on the test switch, place the ink roller against the travel switch to allow the copper roller to operate normally. (Disengage the ink roller and the copper roller will stop rotating)
6. After the water temperature reaches the test requirement, open the synthetic rubber roller bracket to allow the synthetic rubber roller to fall freely on the main shaft copper roller, lift the ink roller bracket to press the ink roller in front of the main shaft copper roller. Before the test, the surface temperature of the rubber roller is inconsistent with the surface temperature of the main shaft copper roller, which will affect the test accuracy. The machine must be turned on and run idle for about 5-15 minutes (mainly depending on the room temperature. The higher the room temperature, the shorter the idle time, and vice versa) to make the surface temperature of each roller consistent and reach the required temperature. It is best to apply a little ink to be measured during idling, which is more beneficial to the surface temperature balance of each roller.
7. After idling, clean it and open the brake to check the zero position. If there is a deviation in the zero position, fine-tune it through the fine-tuning nut. After checking and adjusting the zero position, turn off the automatic device first, then turn off the test switch to stop the instrument, and apply the prepared ink to be tested in the ink absorber more evenly on the synthetic rubber roller, and then turn on the cleaning switch (Note: The cleaning switch is running at a low speed, mainly used to scrub the main copper roller and the initial ink uniformity), so that the ink on it is transferred to the copper roller and the ink uniformity roller and initially uniform.
8. After the ink is initially uniform, turn on the test switch to make the ink further uniform. After reaching the time required by the detection process, turn on the automatic device and adjust the cursor position to make the scale reach the zero balance. At this time, the value indicated by the cursor is the viscosity value of the measured ink.
The time for reading should also be carried out according to the detection process regulations.

3. Instructions for use of constant temperature water tank
1. Open the water tank cover and fill it with water. The water surface should be about 10 mm from the upper edge. The water injected into the water tank should be softened to prevent scale accumulation in the copper roller after long-term use. (Check frequently if the water level is lower than the normal level during long-term use.)
2. Press the temperature control switch, the temperature control indicator light will light up, the constant temperature water tank will start to display, and then set the temperature required for the test (there is no special temperature requirement, the temperature has been set at the factory). If the working temperature is set to 32ºC (SV), 32.0 will be displayed.
3. The auxiliary heating setting temperature must be 3ºC-5ºC lower than the constant temperature setting temperature.
4. In the constant temperature circulating water tank, do not turn on the temperature control switch before adding water, because no water will burn the heater.
5. Set 32ºC, the temperature is between 31.6ºC-32.4ºC, and the temperature display is normal.
6. Press the water pump switch, the water pump indicator light will light up, and the water pump will start working.
