Barcol Hardness Tester Portable Aluminum Alloy Profile Artificial Stone FRP Hardness Tester
1.Product Introduction
The 934-1 Barcol hardness tester is used to detect the hardness of aluminum and aluminum alloy materials. It is mainly used for thick-walled aluminum alloy profiles that cannot be detected by Webster hardness tester. It can detect pure aluminum, softer aluminum alloys, super-hard aluminum alloys, aluminum plates, aluminum rods and aluminum alloy castings, forgings, die-castings, etc. It can also detect assembled parts. Aluminum alloy products (aluminum alloy doors and windows, curtain walls, fire ladders, etc.) can also be used to detect the hardness of non-metallic materials such as fiberglass, hard plastics, etc.
The 934-1 type Barcol hardness tester complies with the American standard ASTM B648-00 "Test method for measuring the hardness of aluminum alloys with a Barcol hardness tester" and the Chinese standard GB/T3854-2005 "Test method for Barcol hardness of reinforced plastics".
Instrument features
Easy to use One-handed operation, easy to use, high efficiency, can be used in any occasion.
High sensitivity: The Barcol hardness tester has 100 scales, and its sensitivity is much higher than that of the Webster hardness tester.
Wide hardness measurement range, from pure aluminum to super-hard aluminum alloys, the effective measurement range is equivalent to Brinell Hardness 25~150HBW.
Wide thickness measurement range: Materials with thickness greater than 0.8mm can be tested.
No support required. Only one side of the sample can be contacted for testing. It can test oversized, overwidth, and overthick materials.
Assembled aluminum alloy products.
Convenient conversion: It can be easily converted into hardness values such as Webster, Brinell, Rockwell, and Vickers.
High-quality indenter The indenter has high hardness, long life and good interchangeability.
The Barcol hardness tester is mainly used to test aluminum and aluminum alloys. Aluminum alloy profiles, plates and pipes are mainly tested using
Webster hardness tester, testing pure aluminum, softer aluminum alloys, ultra-thick aluminum alloys, aluminum alloy rods and assembled aluminum
Alloy products (such as aluminum alloy doors and windows, fire ladders, etc.) should use a Barcol hardness tester.
*Related standards: ASTM B648 "Test Method for Measuring Hardness of Aluminum Alloys using the Barker Hardness Tester".
The Barcol hardness tester is also used to test fiberglass (glass fiber reinforced plastic), hard plastic, etc.
*Relevant standards: GB/T3854-2005 "Test Method for Barcol Hardness of Reinforced Plastics".
ASTM D2583-07 "Test Method for Measuring Indentation Hardness of Hard Plastics with a Barcol Hardness Tester".
*The improved version of the Barcol hardness tester can be used for softer plastics, very soft metals, leather, rubber, etc.
