Among the above refrigeration methods, vapor compression refrigeration is the most economical and most widely used refrigeration method, and is also the most commonly used refrigeration method in environmental test equipment. Its principle is to use the evaporation potential of environmental freon and other liquids to absorb heat from the cooled object and achieve refrigeration. (single stage refrigeration cycle diagram) is a schematic diagram of the steam compression refrigeration cycle process. The liquid that is throttled into the evaporator through the expansion valve absorbs the latent heat of evaporation from the surrounding objects and evaporates. After evaporation, it becomes low-temperature and low-pressure gas and is sucked into the refrigeration compressor. After being compressed by the compressor, it becomes high-temperature and high-pressure gas and enters the water-cooled or air-cooled condenser, where it is cooled into high-pressure liquid and then enters the evaporator through the expansion valve. In this cycle, heat is absorbed from the cold to cool, and heat is released from the hot. A change from one state to another in the refrigeration cycle shown is called a process. There are four processes in the refrigeration cycle. The following is a brief description of the four processes in the refrigeration cycle. (1) Evaporation process: through the expansion and throttling of low pressure wet steam, in the evaporator from the surrounding medium to absorb heat refrigeration, and gradually increase its dryness. The gas that comes out of the evaporator is either dry saturated or slightly superheated. During evaporation, the refrigerant temperature and pressure remain constant. (2). Compression process: after the completion of refrigeration, the vapor from the evaporator enters the refrigerator. After compression, the temperature and pressure rise sharply. So the gas that comes out of the refrigerator becomes a superheated hot vapor. During the compression process, the entropy of the refrigerant remains constant. (3). Condensation process: the high temperature and high pressure superheated vapor discharged from the refrigerator is exchanged with cooling water or air after entering the condenser, so that the superheated vapor gradually becomes saturated vapor, and then becomes saturated liquid. Saturated liquid temperature when cooled with cooling water The degree will continue to drop and there will be supercooling. The pressure remains constant during condensation. (4) throttling process: the liquid from the condenser is throttled through the expansion valve or capillary throttling device to become low temperature and low pressure wet steam, and the enthalpy value of the refrigerant remains unchanged during the throttling process. The above four cyclic processes are continuously circulated in turn to achieve the purpose of refrigeration. In order to complete the thermodynamic process of the refrigeration cycle, the compressor, heat exchanger, pipeline, pipeline accessories, etc., need to be composed of a system, the system is called refrigeration system. Single-stage compression refrigeration means that the refrigerant vapor is compressed only once, and its lowest evaporation temperature can be controlled between -30ºC and -40ºC. When a lower test temperature is needed, the overlapping refrigeration system is usually used, that is, two single-stage compression refrigeration systems are overlapping. One system is the high temperature part, using medium temperature refrigerant; the other system is the low temperature part, using low temperature refrigerant.
