1.Product Introduction
The GA-5B point light source detector is a specialized equipment used for inspecting the glass ribs of ordinary flat glass.
Working Principle
When a point light source is used to irradiate a regular flat panel at a certain distance and at a certain angle, some bright lines will appear on a certain plane behind the glass panel. The brighter the lines, the heavier the glass fibers within the glass.
This instrument operates based on this principle. It uses the light source of a slide projector to illuminate the glass. A white screen is placed behind the glass plate. The bright lines obtained from the sample and the bright lines obtained from the standard sample confirmed by glass experts are compared.
Operation method:
1. Place the glass sample on.
2. Turn on the light switch.
3. Turn off the room lighting.
4. By comparing the light and dark striped images that appear on the screen when the standard sample and the glass sample are placed side by side, the grade of the glass reinforcement can be determined.
5. Turn on the room lighting.
6. Turn off the light switch.
7. Remove the glass sample and place it properly.
