The basic working principle of gas chromatography technology: Gas, liquid or solid samples are sent into the chromatographic (separation) column system through a certain injection method through the vaporization chamber. The mixture components in the sample flow through the chromatographic column driven by the carrier gas (N2). Each component in the sample is separated under the action of the stationary phase in the chromatographic column. The chemical components are converted into electrical signals (current or voltage) proportional to their concentration in the detector. The electrical signals of the corresponding components are sent to the recording instrument or data acquisition and processing system, and the qualitative and quantitative analysis of the components in the mixture can be carried out.
