Product Introduction:
The Oxygen Plasma Cleaner is a device designed for surface cleaning and hydrophilic treatment. During operation, a controlled amount of oxygen is introduced into a vacuum chamber; a radio-frequency (RF) power supply then applies voltage to initiate a discharge, generating high-energy oxygen plasma. This plasma bombards the sample surface to achieve a cleaning effect. The device is primarily utilized for sample surface cleaning, activation, bonding, resist stripping, metal reduction, light etching, removal of organic surface contaminants, hydrophilic modification experiments, and surface pretreatment prior to plating or coating. It is maintenance-free and requires no consumables. Furthermore, as the oxygen plasma interacts with the sample surface, it induces the formation of oxygen-containing functional groups-such as hydroxyl (-OH), carboxyl (-COOH), and carbonyl (-C=O) groups. These functional groups increase the surface polarity of the material, thereby improving its hydrophilicity to a significant degree.
