| Product Specifications 1. The exterior doors and windows on-site water spray testing device shall include a control valve, pressure gauge, booster pump, nozzle, and water pipe. The water sprayed from the nozzle shall form a continuous curtain of water on the surface of the door or window being inspected. 2. The on-site water spray testing area shall include the opening gap between the window sash and the window frame, the joints between the window frames, the joints between the panel and the door and window frame, and the installation gaps between the door and window and the window opening, all areas where leakage may occur. 3. On-site water spray testing of doors and windows shall be conducted according to the following steps and requirements: 3.1 Adjust the water pressure. The water pressure should be 160 kPa in tropical storm and typhoon areas and 110 kPa in non-tropical storm and typhoon areas. 3.2 Select test locations on the exterior side of doors and windows. From a distance of 0.5 to 0.7 m from the door or window surface, spray water from the bottom up, perpendicular to the surface, at the joints to be tested. The spraying should last for 5 minutes. 3.3 While spraying, observe the interior side of the window for leaks. If no leaks are detected within 5 minutes, proceed to the next test location. 3.4 Continue spraying the selected locations one by one. Record the location of any leaking water. |
