Precision Engineering: The system frame is constructed from high-quality, imported, high-strength aluminum profiles with an oxidation-resistant, baked-enamel finish; all other major components are precision-machined from aluminum alloy, stainless steel, and copper alloy.
Precision Positioning: All linear motion units-including the 3D sample stage (X-Y axes) and the Z-axis adjustment for the syringe/needle-are driven by linear gear racks and precision dovetail slides, ensuring smooth, effortless, and fine-tuned movement.
Automatic Control: The GA-200 comes standard with a professional-grade, software-controlled precision Automatic Dispensing (AD) system. It utilizes precision linear guides for dispensing with an accuracy of 0.1 µL, ensuring measurement precision and repeatability. Departing from traditional tubing-based fluid delivery, the system employs a direct-push plunger mechanism; this facilitates easier cleaning and replacement of syringes while eliminating the difficulties associated with traditional tubing systems-such as the challenge of purging air bubbles and the need for specialized operators. It accommodates high-precision gas-tight glass microsyringes (for applications requiring precise volume control) as well as disposable plastic syringes (for measuring hard-to-clean liquid samples). When the liquid is depleted, the system can be automatically refilled directly from an included 5 mL beaker.
Comprehensive Syringe and Needle Options: A wide range of syringe specifications is available to meet diverse customer needs, including various capacities (25 µL to 1000 µL), materials (gas-tight glass or plastic), and brands (e.g., Hamilton, Boli). A variety of needles are also offered, featuring different gauges (10-34#), materials (stainless steel, PTFE, or flexible PP), and specialized shapes (such as bent needles). These are suitable for standard contact angle measurements as well as specialized applications involving superhydrophobic, superhydrophilic, or high-viscosity liquids, including sample dispensing and droplet transfer. Imaging System: The GA-200 comes standard with a high-resolution CMOS image sensor featuring a rolling shutter and a Pomeas 0.7-4.5x telecentric profile lens, ensuring optimal imaging quality. Additionally, a high-intensity cold-light backlight-with continuously adjustable digital brightness-provides uniform background illumination for imaging.
